Guatemala San Isidro Chacaya
Finca San Isidro Chacaya is a family owned farm, and has been producing wonderful coffees in Guatemala for over 100 years. The farm is located in between between Volcan San Pedro and Lake Atitlán, in the western highlands of Guatemala, in the department of Sololá, right in the middle of the Atitlán region. This coffee is balanced with lovely caramel tones and irresistible sweetness. The farm has an area of only 180 hectares has, of which, 46 are planted with coffee and the rest is natural reserve.
We were extremely lucky to secure only 3 bags of a new varietal for this farm to produce, Bourbon, in its first year of production. This means we are one of only a couple roasters around the world to be able to experience this interesting new varietal from this farm.
