Ethiopia Sasaba - Natural

This wonderful new Ethiopian lot comes to us via the Sasaba washing station in Guji. The washing station, owned by Tsegay Hagos Tesfaye, supports about 500 smallholder producers working in the hills surrounding the wet mill, in the Kercha district and close to the town of Bule Hora. Here, the elevation remains over 2000MASL, and the dense forest on the slopes help create beautiful microclimates within an already phenomenal growing region to producer phenomenal lots.

This coffee was sourced in partnership with our friends at Trabocca, based in the Netherlands. Trabocca is one of the premier sourcing partners with established multi faceted relationships based in Ethiopia, and one of the global leaders of sourcing from this region. This coffee is fully traceable, directly through Trabocca's channels and they have been working with the station since 2013. We are proud to have Sasaba on our list for the first time, as it is a wonderful example of a beautiful, clean Ethiopian natural.
