Ethiopia Hunda Oli
Notes of ginger, pear, blood orange.
This lovely Lima region coffee comes to us from the capable hands of Hunda Oli, a group of about 180 producers supported by the famed Keta Muduga Union. Operating since 2016, Keta Muduga was formed as a more geographically unified entity, compared to the much larger Oromia Cooperative. The goal of Hunda Oli & Keta Muduga is to increase annual household incomes for their producers and support social projects including road infrastructure, schools and improving access to clean water.
The group averages around 2000MASL, which aides in them consistently producing fabulous coffees with balanced acidity and soft floral notes. We have purchased coffee from Keta Muduga before and have always been impressed with the quality, so we are excited to have this coffee in our list!
This lot was purchased through our friends and sourcing partners, Shared Source, who do an excellent job with pricing transparency, farmer support and finding stand-out lots that we are fortunate to be able to share with you!
