Colombia Darabiel Osorio

Deep in the highlands of Huila, a fabled coffee growing region in Colombia that we have steadily purchased coffees from since our inception, lies the municipality of Tarquí. With steep hills and dense micro climates, this region provides us with a huge range of profiles to choose from and some wonderful producers like Darabiel Osorio.

Darabiel has been a long-time practitioner of ecologically guided agriculture. He has a great water filtration system that uses bacteria and organic waste to remove nitrogen and phosphorus from the filtered water & he has been making Super Magro on his farm, which has led to a reduction in roya and healthier plants.

This lot was purchased through our friends and sourcing partners at Shared Source, who do an excellent job with pricing transparency, farmer support and finding stand-out lots that we are fortunate to be able to share with you! We are proud to have Darabiel's coffee on our offer list for the first time!
