This lovely Ethiopian from the Oromia region in the Guji zone of Ethiopia has been an absolute joy for us since we originally cupped it back in December of 2016. The growing community is made up of 850 members with 2-5 hectares per farmer. The washed processing methods, using a fermentation process and then drying for 10-12 days under raised beds. This helps to yield a tremendous complexity in flavour from start to finish. Mulish has all the lovely qualities of an hierloom-ethiopian, but with added notes of body to promote the additional boost. Sparkling orange and merlot hints ring true with a wonderful floral aroma, with the finish and room temperature grabbing prominent flavours of peach, lime, and honeydew.
